Ujyalo Bato: Becoming Me

About a month ago, we completed a detailed assessment for Ujjyalo Bato, and what we discovered was both eye-opening and deeply motivating:

💬 Periods are still spoken about in whispers, wrapped in shame.
💬 Boys being asked to sit with girls was seen as a punishment.
💬 Many children had already been exposed to porn and sensitive online content without guidance or understanding.

These realities reminded us exactly why Ujjyalo Bato exists.
And since then, we’ve been in the classrooms — listening, teaching, unlearning, and relearning together.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve run multiple sessions using our specially designed coursework. The conversations have begun to shift. Curiosity is growing. Comfort is building. And the walls of taboo are slowly starting to crack.

Next week (1st week of December), we’ll be conducting our mid-course assessment to see just how far we’ve come — and how far we still need to go.
